James is working with DFDcollective on the IN-SITE project as a film maker; his expertise has been invaluable to the process thus far. James also works professionally as a dancer as well as making his own choreographic work.
“I have been filming professionally since 2011 but have been wielding a camera for years prior. My interest in dance film comes from my parallel & ongoing work as a performer. Having experience in both sides of the art form allows me an intuition for the movements, it not only aids the final product, but makes shooting dance really enjoyable.”
