Sarah began her professional training at London Contemporary Dance School, graduating in 2012 with a BA (Hons) Degree. In 2012, Sarah joined Transitions Dance Company at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. As a dancer with Transitions, Sarah worked with Lauri Stallings, Tom Dale and Augusto Corrieri. Sarah toured Internationally with Transitions in 2013 and graduated with an MA in Dance Performance later the same year. Since graduating, Sarah has worked as a freelance dancer and teacher. Sarah has become a significant member of The Natasha’s Project, a dance company raising awareness of global sex trafficking through their work. The Natasha’s Project tour Europe performing and working with survivors of trafficking. They also work in secondary schools to raise awareness of the issue here in the UK. Sarah teaches contemporary dance and gymnastics and also movement for adults with learning disabilities. She helps to run Shooters Hill School of Arts and teaches street dance at her church to the local community.
Sarah has been a committed and invaluable member of DFDC since 2013. She brings a sense of power and strength to the stage whilst also finding subtle nuances in performance.
